Ernest graduated with a bachelor’s degree in minerals engineering from the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa, Ghana. Motivated by a passion for diverse perspectives and writing, he embarked on a journey into technical communication at the graduate level. As Ernest approaches the completion of his master's degree, the road ahead leads to a Ph.D. in mining engineering. This future endeavor focuses on developing sustainable processing techniques for critical minerals, fulfilling his academic aspirations.

In the role of a GTA, Ernest finds profound joy in the reciprocal learning process, evolving as an educator alongside his students, and imprinting a meaningful impact on their lives. Ernest's life mission is to inspire the younger generation and spearhead communication and advocacy for sustainable practices, ensuring a sustainable tomorrow. 

Beyond academia, during his leisure moments, Ernest finds solace in the intricacies of playing chess and table tennis, the thrill of watching soccer, and enjoying the tranquility of hiking and nature parks.
