DR. RACHEL SCHNEIDER

ASSOCIATE TEACHING PROFESSOR

Research interests: digital pedagogy, popular culture, the history of the book, and eighteenth-century British and American literature

Dr. Rachel Schneider earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. Last semester, she taught ENGL 1120 Exposition and Argumentation; this semester, she is teaching ENGL 1060 Writing and Research and ENGL 1211 British Literature I.

Dr. Schneider is a Missouri native from Columbia and is enjoying being close to family and being a new member of the Missouri S&T community. She hopes that, in the future, she will have an opportunity to design a course on literature and sport, because she is an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan.
