Maryam Muhammad Bashir

GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT

Maryam earned a bachelor's degree in fisheries from the Federal University Dustin-Ma in Katsina State, Nigeria. Before entering S&T's graduate program in technical communication, she accumulated professional expertise in customer service roles at companies like Dufil Prima Food Plc and Txtlight Power Solution Limited, both located in Lagos State, Nigeria. Her passion for transforming complex ideas into accessible language drew her to technical communication. While serving with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Osun State, she was honored to lead a group of Muslim sisters. Outside of work and studies, she enjoys crafting traditional African meals, indulging in dance, and listening to Nigerian hip-hop music.
